I attended the FanExpo in Toronto on Saturday and had a good time.

I was, however, a little pissed over the new fees for celeb autographs and the whole Bruce Campbell "fiasco"!

Every year, you would pay for an autograph, and the celeb would take a photo with you at the table. THIS YEAR, you pay for the autograph, and if you want to get a photo together that was an ADDITIONAL charge!! Not only that, but the photo takes place at a different time and place. What a load of crap!! $80 for auto and pic, when it used to be $25-35??? BS!

Bruce Campbell was a guest. First, you got into a two hour line to buy tickets (for what I talked of above). THen you went behind a curtain to wait in (yet another) line out of site. What they bastards don't tell you is that the line is a minimum of 6 hours!!! Bruce arrived at noon. Line up time was about 6 hours. He signed autographes for 2 hours and then had to go to the fan photo session. If you were stupid enough to stay, you had to stay in line for when he came back at 5 pm...or lose your place. What a crock of shyte! Luckily, I was able to sell my ticket to some sorry sap.

Never again, will I waste my time with the sham/rip off that it the autograph sessions. Once again, the Toronto Fan Expo was poorly planned, man'd, organized, etc. Luckily, the many awesome artist that were there were able to "cool me down" with their amazing art!! Sadly, because of all the damn line ups, I wasn't able to get pics commissioned Live and learn.

Cool part about the event, was the DC booth, that had an actor dressed as the Green Lantern. He was amazing. Stayed in character the entire time. After getting a photo with him (FOR FREE!), I told him I loved his costume, where he answered "Sir, this is a uniform!" LOL! He was around 6'5 too. Great "uniform". He even agreed to record a message on my camera for my daughters at home. He was great! Hats off to DC for their great participation and for having my favorite hero (besides MarDun).

I am always amazed at the dedication and quality of the costumes as well!

This was almost a horrible day for me, but saved by all you artists that attended, and the great Green Lantern presentation by DC comics!
